Indecisiveness

I am terrible! I have been doubting my dress eversince this picture took my breath away:

 From then on I kept fussing over the skirt of my dress being too big and how I should have gotten it more fitted and really regretting not taking in the skirt. So on and so forth. Making mental lists as to the pros and cons of not tailoring the dress to much which included totally valid points such as having the gown look different in style to the reception dress, or that it'll be easier to resell later on if I keep the dress as original as I can help it, or just that I'll be less stressed about weight fluctuations with the gown not being too fitted.

Finally today, after watching this clip and several more SMP blog posts where brides were wearing A-line skirts, I am more at peace with myself now, knowing that I did make the right choice after all. S says no matter how bad I think I look, he won't change his mind and that he'll be at the end of that altar, ready to marry me.

1.5 months to go

And I got quite curious as to what the wedding is starting to look like considering all the stuff I have been working on. Voila:

Joyful is the woman who gets what she wants when she doesn't even know it existed in the first place!

The wish list for the wedding day was to get the body lotion for the fragrance to layer on with the perfume of the day, you know to make it last and all... But one didn't know if they made it as one never saw it in the shops. It was never displayed you see.

Just browsing in myer last night when asked the much dreaded question at the Dior counter:"Can I help you with anything at all?"

Needless to say... I walked away with glee albeit the nagging certainty that I could have saved money if I bought this online.

E-session pictures

I came home and went straight to the mail box because I knew the photos were coming today. I was disappointed when I didn't see the CD in there. I told myself it was ok, that I could wait just one more day. So I walked to open up the main door and OMG it was there! In between the security door and the main door! My heart almost jumped out of my throat.

I am surprised I managed to cook dinner and refrain from tearing open the package immediately! But oh boy, when I saw the finished product from Vibrant Photography, I was beyond stoked! It was really impressive! And I never thought I could be photographed to look so pretty! S and I looked so in love it was amazing! He was able to capture what we could not express and painted our stories with his apperture.

I am glad we chose the uni where we started our relationship as our location. It was so gorgeous and sitting on the very same patch of grass where he asked me for my number was really special. I can't put all the pictures here, but do enjoy the ones that I can.

Wow... I used to be like that. Lately I have lost most of my will to work. Perhaps it's got to do with the job not being overly challenging.

I think I will hold on to this quote until there is something worth fighting for again. And then, watch out Accounting world! You won't know what hit ya!
